French School, circa 1930 : “Sunset over the Sea and Cliffs,” watercolor, 33 x 46 cm (plus a 4-cm strip filled in on the back), mounted in amatting frame repainted light gray, 43 x 57 cm.
A small stain behind the glass, some wear on the frame.
I can’t quite make out this signature: N. Sor…, but the artist demonstrates great mastery of watercolor, using a rich palette to capture the shimmering colors of this sunset…
