Pieter Jacobsz Codde (1599-1678) “Young pipe smoker abandoning his study”, lithograph avant la lettre on chine applied to vellum, 44 cardboard bearing the label of the framer D. Flamme in Lille (where the painting is located). Very numerous foxings, especially on the margins. Obviously anonymous since it was avant-garde, we can nevertheless compare our print to the artists in vogue in the second third of the 19th century.
