Art Deco "vigne Vierge" Vase By Daum Nancy, 1925
Stunning Art Deco-era (circa 1925) "Vigne Vierge" ball vase with an upturned neck, made by Daum in Nancy.
Stylized design of grapes and vine leaves in acid-etched glass, in shades of orange on a white background. It is signed on the base “Daum Nancy” with the Cross of Lorraine.
A similar vase was sold at Piasa in 2018, and another similar vase is on display at the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Nancy.
Height: 17 cm. Diameter: 17 cm. In perfect condition. No cracks, no chips. A very beautiful vase, in the true spirit of Art Déco!
