Imposing "Algues" ball vase from the Art Deco period (1927–1928) by Schneider – Le Verre Francais.
White powdered glass, lined with red powdered glass, speckled with green powdered glass. Superb design of stylized seaweed in acid-etched glass, reproduced on four sides.
It is signed “Le Verre Français” on the base and “Charder” within the design (see photos). This design is featured on page 158 of the book by Marie-Christine Joulin and Gerold Maier.
Height: 22 cm. Diameter: 25 cm! Very good condition. No cracks, no chips. A very beautiful vase!
