Biedermeier Office Furniture, Vienna, Circa 1815
A rare early Biedermeier office cabinet, probably from Vienna, with an oak body veneered in cherry, continuous wood grain, semi-attached columns, original moldings on the top and sides, a structured front with brass profiles, and leaf-gilded hardware. Overall, an elegant, stately, and well-proportioned piece in the courtly style.
