An exceptional pair of vintage drop earrings by the celebrated London jewellery house Kutchinsky, renowned for its bold Modernist designs and outstanding craftsmanship.

Beautifully sculpted in rich 18 carat yellow gold, each earring features Kutchinsky’s signature textured multi-strand wirework, gathered into an elegant knot motif. Suspended beneath is a matching gold connector supporting a striking geometric black onyx drop, carved with softly rounded square edges surrounding an open centre. The dramatic contrast between the polished black onyx and the warm yellow gold creates a striking architectural design synonymous with the glamour of the 1970s.

Substantial in both scale and weight, these impressive statement earrings measure approximately 5 cm in length by 3 cm across, with a generous combined gross weight of 40.6 grams.

The earrings are signed Kutchinsky. Although they bear no metal fineness marks, they have been professionally tested as 18 carat gold.
