Clitunno Lamp By Vico Magistretti
Artist: Vico Magistretti Pour L'éditeur Artemide
A lamp designed by Vico Magistretti for Artemide, with production beginning in 1964. The collection, produced at the time under the generic name “Omega,” is quite distinctive: the bulb is housed within the sphere, and a ring—also made of opal glass—transmits and softens the light from the source; and the whole assembly appears to be suspended from an elegant four-pronged nickel-plated steel support.
