Vase signed Gallé, ovoid in shape with a short, slightly flared neck, made of multilayered glass with an acid-etched design.

Olive branches bearing long, tapered leaves and olives spread across the circumference of the body. The design stands out in shades of brown and olive green against a luminous yellow background, accented with touches of orange-red and soft green at the base.

The interplay of the different layers of glass lends the motif beautiful effects of depth, while the contrast between the satin-finished surfaces and the raised reliefs highlights the delicacy of the botanical design. The vase’s rounded shape showcases this naturalistic composition in the spirit of Art Nouveau.
