Gilded Wood / Element
A Baroque decorative element made of carved and gilded wood, likely part of an ancient monumental structure, such as an altarpiece, a canopy, or ceremonial furniture.
The sculpture features a rich decoration of flowers, fruits, and foliage, as well as a central through-hole 4 cm in diameter, suggesting it was mounted on a vertical support.
The upper section, which is carved and twisted, is now detached but shows traces of its former attachment.
