The outermost hinged back case is constructed of solid 18k gold and features British hallmark stamps consisting of a crown over the number 18, a 75 fineness mark, a town mark, and a year letter code alongside the serial number 7099. The exterior rear surface has a hand-engraved Victorian Rococo Revival foliate pattern surrounding a central unengraved shield cartouche. The gold-tone dial features an engraved central floral pattern inside a chapter ring marked with black Roman numeral hour markers and 2 blue-steel hands. The internal mechanical bridge movement features a top stem-winding crown, a side-rim pin-set mechanism, and a cylinder escapement.
