This iconic mid-century design, created by Danish designer Verner Panton in 1959, was developed for production in collaboration with Vitra (launched by Vitra in 1999)
It is famous for being the first one-piece cantilever chair made entirely of plastic ever created, prized for its fluid, futuristic curves.
43 cm wide, 47 cm deep, and 81 cm high. Seat height: 46 cm.
The “Verner Panton” signature is stamped on the rear edge of the leg frame.
A molded manufacturing stamp located under the seat features the Vitra logo as well as production data (7/2014) and material identification codes.
