Set of 12 coffee spoons / Tea, entirely in Vermeil (gold on silver) from the Art Nouveau period, c. 1900, in the prestigious “Iris” design.
Set presented in its original-shaped case, signed GIMILINY, Jeweler, lined with chamois leather and beige silk (stains).
Minerve 1st Title hallmarks and hallmarks of Master Silversmith Emile PUIFORCAT, awarded in 1857. Set in good overall condition, with minor scratches from use.
An exceptional model, listed as such on several occasions in David Allan’s reference work cataloging the finest French silverware designs.
