Gallé – Art Nouveau Miniature Vase Decorated With Vines And Bunches Of Grapes
A small, miniature baluster-shaped vase with a long, slightly flared neck, made of multilayered glass in the Gallé workshops in Nancy.
It features a continuous design of vine branches bearing leaves and grape clusters, etched in shades of plum-purple and mauve on a slightly bluish opalescent background. The botanical design flows harmoniously around the body and up the neck, in the naturalistic style characteristic of Gallé’s work.
Signature “Gallé” etched in relief within the design.
Crafted by the Gallé Workshops in Nancy, Art Nouveau period, first quarter of the 20th century.
A lovely miniature size, particularly appealing for the harmony of its colors and the delicacy of its vine motif.
