This miniature is an authentic work by Jean-Simon Peynaud (1869–1952), a French artist and master glassmaker based in Bordeaux.
The calligraphic "Peynaud" mark painted on the side of the vase unequivocally confirms its origin.
It features an autumnal design of stylized holly or oak leaves, finely painted with enamel in the purest Art Nouveau style.
It is characteristic of the works produced by his studio, which was active primarily between 1910 and 1935 and specialized in pieces featuring warm, misty tones.
The vase is intact and in excellent condition—a must-see for collectors!!
