Coffee Table By Eero Saarinen For Knoll
Artist: Eero Saarinen
Coffee table by for Knoll
This pedestal table features a circular top made of white Carrara marble with organic gray veins, with the characteristic bevel on the lower edge
It rests on a solid cast aluminum base, coated with a white protective finish that blends seamlessly into a circular profile anchored to the floor
Launched in 1957 as part of the historic Pedestal collection, this iconic mid-century modern design was specifically conceived to eliminate the structural bulkiness of traditional four-legged tables.
The imperfections in the marble have been restored by our workshop.
The marble top measures 51 cm in diameter.
The base measures 40 cm in diameter.
Height: 37 cm.
This is one of the first editions, manufactured in the mid-1950s, which explains the absence of a maker’s mark on the base.
