Etling – Octagonal Opalescent Glass Cup With A Fish Design
An octagonal opalescent glass cup decorated with four fish around its rim. Signed in relief: “Etling France” and catalog number 154. Designed by Jean-Théodore Delabassé, who created pieces for Etling. Most of Etling’s creations were produced in the crystal and glassworks of Choisy-le-Roi, located on the outskirts of Paris and responsible for producing the finest opalescent glass in Europe during the Art Deco period. In very good condition, with two small chips on the edges; see photos. Dimensions: 31 x 30 cm x 6.5 cm high.
