Against a landscape background depicting a wheat field, she holds in her hands a few ears of wheat, cornflowers, and poppies.
The Salon catalogs indicate that Mlle. Léonie Prin exhibited portraits at the Paris Salon at the Royal Museum of Arts (Louvre Museum) from 1836 to 1848, and that she resided at 26 Place Royale.
Very good condition a tiny superficial scratch in the old varnish, barely visible on the left shoulder (photo 10). The old varnish is a bit yellow.
Antique frame, regilded, with minor visible wear.
