Neo-greek Vase Depicting Amphora Bearers — F. Levillain & F. Barbedienne
A circular, two-handled cup in the Neo-Greek style, made of patinated bronze and brass, dating from the late 19th century (Napoleon III period). The central bas-relief medallion is signed F. LEVILLAIN. The rim bears the incised signature of the famous castor F. BARBEDIENNE.
The side handles are engraved with foliage, flowers, and dolphins.
Dimensions: Diameter 21 cm (30 cm with handles) | Height 5 cm
Condition: Authentic. Normal wear on the original patina and slight localized traces of oxidation.
There are a few slight dents (minor deformations) on the rim.
