Pair ofornamental cast-iron vases with period Napoleon III covers from the Vald’Osne foundry. The pedestal-shaped vases are decorated with putti on the handles,lion’s muzzles, clusters of fruit, and fleurs-de-lis on the body. The pedestalis fluted.
- The casings areadorned with masks, festoons, moldings, and acanthus leaves. Foundry mark of Vald’Osne foundry stamp at the bottom of the shaft. Thispair of basins of exceptional dimensions is listed in several palaces, notably the one in Biarritz
