Pair of portal pillars in hard Villebois (Ain) stone, dating from the first half of the 19th century, in good condition. The 50 cm x 54 cm shafts are carved on three sides, the fourth side adjoining a property wall and a former gateway.
Four possible assemblies, from lowest to highest (as shown in our photos):
- Shafts with 225 cm high bases under capitals, for a total height of 265 cm.
- Barrels of 225 cm plus 50 cm high and 100 cm wide cushions for 275 cm under marquees, i.e. a total height of 315 cm.
- Barrels of 225 cm plus 71 cm risers, for 296 cm under marquees, i.e. a total height of 336 cm.
- Barrels of 225 cm plus 71 cm risers, topped with 50 cm high and 100 cm wide cushions for 345 cm under marquees, i.e. a total height of 386 cm.
The section of the marquees is 72 x 76 cm.
