Paris Porcelain Dinner Service
We are selling this Paris porcelain dinner service, adorned with a magnificent design featuring birds, flowers, and gilding.
Dating from the Napoleon III era, it is said to have been given to the Mangin family by Empress Eugénie, wife of Napoleon III.
Discovered in the home of descendants of this family, it was accompanied by a document stating that it was a gift from the Empress.
This fairly complete set includes a coffee pot, a teapot, a sugar bowl, a milk jug, 8 cups, and 8 saucers—20 pieces in total.
In good overall condition, with some wear on the gilding.
