Large 20th-century Chinese Porcelain Sanxing Statues – The Gods Fu, Lu, And Shou
A set of three large Chinese polychrome porcelain statuettes depicting the famous deities of the Sanxing triad (Fu Xing, Lu Xing, and Shou Xing), symbols of happiness, prosperity, and longevity.
These were produced in the second half of the 20th century (circa 1960–1980) in the famous Jingdezhen workshops. The unglazed bases bear the original workshop mold numbers as well as the manufacturer’s marks characteristic of this period of export production.
Fu Xing (left): God of Happiness. Height: 40 cm.
Shou Xing (center): God of Longevity. Height: 36 cm.
Lu Xing (right): God of Social Success. Height: 40 cm.
The set is in very good condition.
Please note a slight damage/previous repair at the junction of the arm and the scroll on the figure on the left (Fu Xing).
