Lécythe: A Taste Of Ancient Greece
A lekythos in the ancient Greek style, with red figurative decoration on a black background depicting a flute player. On the side near the handle, the slip is uniformly black. It shows a beautiful patina of wear and excavation deposits. This is a Grand Tour artifact from the late 19th/early 20th century.
