Beautiful marquetry work with very red inlay .
There are a lot of gilded bronzes :
– caryatids are “Satyrs”
– sides with the “mask”
– sides decorated with foliage, bronze corner…
Interior in mahogany of Cuba, with 2 shelves.
Green marble in perfect condition.
Sea green marble, or Genoa green marble, is a type of serpentine-based marble, very soft, with a rather dark green color, speckled with various colors, which owes its name to the shapes of its veins reminiscent of sea waves. It is mainly quarried in the northern region of Genoa (hence its other name, Genoa green).
