???? Pair of vintage cantilever armchairs in rosewood veneer
A beautiful pair of vintage cantilever armchairs with a particularly elegant design, combining the warm curves of rosewood veneer with generous black upholstered seats.
✨ Their silhouette is characteristic of cantilever armchairs: the base extends in a continuous line to the armrests, giving the piece a fluid, light, and decidedly modernist look.
???? The rosewood veneer reveals a superb brown grain with warm, deep hues. The wide, curved armrests beautifully highlight the wood’s natural grain.
???? The armchairs have retained their original black tufted fabric, now marked by the passage of time. We made a deliberate choice not to replace it: its wear adds a great deal of charm to the pieces and fully contributes to the authenticity of this pair.
????️ This patina gives the armchairs a presence that would be lost with a systematic restoration. The fabric therefore shows visible signs of wear in the photographs, which we embrace as an integral part of their history.
