Antoine-Nicolas Lesage (1784–1841) was one of the greatest Parisian dealers in furniture and objets d’art, but was also very likely a manufacturer. Initially based on Boulevard des Italiens, he moved in 1821 to 2 Rue de la Grange-Batelière. His “Grande Décoration” establishment counted the Duchess of Berry among its clients. He received numerous official commissions and supplied furniture for the palaces of Meudon, the Tuileries, and Neuilly.
