Early 20th-century Oak Paneling

An oak trim element consisting of a panel set between its stiles and rails.
The whole is accentuated by a generous molding that adds depth.
This is likely a facing panel covering the base of interior walls, as was customary in the past.
The two stiles extend below the panel because there was probably a baseboard that filled this gap.
Judging by the traditional machining and joinery techniques (saw marks and dovetail joints on the back panel, miter cuts, etc.), this panel certainly dates from the early 20th century, perhaps earlier.
Ideal as a decorative element on its own, or showcased as a trumeau, mirror, etc.

width = 87 cm; height = 99 cm + 11 cm overhang at the bottom of the stiles; thickness = 3 cm + 4 cm molding
