A Napoleon III-era (19th century) blackened wood pendulum clock with period marquetry. The front features inlays of gilded brass and mother-of-pearl. The bezel is made of gilded bronze and embellished with glass flowers. The pendulum is also made of gilded bronze, decorated with foliage and a porcelain flower. The Rollin-Paris movement is in working order. Two small hairline cracks in the dial’s enamel, a slightly warped brass trim at the top, and a small chip in the lacquer are worth noting, but otherwise it is in good condition.
