A rare pair of deep bowls or fruit bowls made of Nyon porcelain (Switzerland—near Lake Geneva), featuring a beautiful design of polychrome and gold floral motifs, with wolf’s-tooth patterns gilded with fine gold. Both pieces bear the “blue fish” (perchette) signature of the Nyon Manufactory in Switzerland, founded in 1781 and closed in 1813. They are therefore over 200 years old. Date: late 18th century / early 19th century.

A beautiful set; our dinner service is in excellentcondition: no chips or cracks, fresh colors, and the gilding is intact. Superb.
