A striking and elegant pair of candelabra in patinated bronze and gilded bronze, signed by F. Barbedienne, a renowned 19th-century Parisian art bronze foundry.

In the Neo-Renaissance style with Asian-inspired decoration, each candelabra features a baluster shaft in brown-patinated bronze, delicately adorned with relief plant motifs, supporting a rich cluster of lights with sinuous, finely chiseled arms.

The composition is crowned by a winged figure in gilded bronze, giving the ensemble a particularly slender and decorative silhouette. The numerous gilded elements—light arms, lampshades, foliage, and ornaments—offer a beautiful contrast to the brown patina of the bodies.

The candelabra rest on substantial, molded quadrangular bases made of stained wood, embellished with bronze elements and finished with four legs.
