Napoleon III-style Rosewood Reading Desk, Music Stand, And Music Cabinet, 19th Century

Reading cabinet or music stand, featuring a lectern in the upper section and a sheet music compartment in the lower section, made of rosewood or mahogany, with two shelves in the center and a single drawer at the bottom; the uprights are turned wood, with two small pull tabs on the sides of the music stand, mounted on feet with casters, dating from the Napoleon III period in the 19th century.

This piece is in good condition and of fine quality. It is particularly interesting due to its design: the music stand is adjustable and tiltable and features two small brass clips to hold the pages of a book or sheet music in place. Below, there are two storage shelves followed by small vertical compartments that serve as magazine or sheet music holders.

Please note: This piece has been restored in some areas; there is a small piece of wood missing from one leg (see red arrow), scratches on the leather pull tabs, and signs of age—see photos.
