Louis XVI-style Mirrored Panel Made Of Gilded Wood Carved With Palmettes And Original Tin On Three Sides And The Back
Artist: Non Signé
This beautiful, generously sized mirror frame is in the condition in which it was found (one side is missing), richly carved with palmette motifs within a generous and uniform molding; this piece could be incorporated into a smaller trumeau by adding a framed painting in the same style to compensate for the missing molding; moreover, the mirror retains its original patinated mercury coating, as does its back made of fir slats. A beautiful foundation guaranteed to make a statement.
