Large oval mirror made of carved wood and gilded with gold leaf. Rich Louis XVI-style decoration featuring a laurel wreath, rosettes, and ribbon bows, entirely gilded with gold leaf. Beautiful antique beveled mercury mirror. The frame is from the Louis XVI period, circa 1780
