Sculpture of a woman sitting on a dormeuse while adjusting her headdress. Harmony and lightness are evident in the figure of the young woman, and quality is evident in the sofa on which she sits. The alabaster piece rests on a base of veined black marble from the same period. Art Nouveau period. Saccardi was an Italian sculptor famous for his depictions of women.
