Engraving By Cherubinus Albertus, Late 16th Century
Cherubinus Albertus born in 1553 died in 1615 and has been in Rome since 1578. Painter and engraver depicts Pope Gregory XIII, SixteV, Urban VII and King Henry IV of France. Many of his engravings reproduce the frescoes, unfortunately lost, made by Polidoro da Caravaggio on the facades of certain Roman palaces.
