Jeanne Gérardin (1930–2014) was a French artist whose unique and inventive textile work is part of the European contemporary textile art movement. Her three-dimensional compositions, created from rolled and sewn textiles, form colorful and textured worlds of great visual richness.

This mixed-media textile work, dating from the late 20th century, is a three-dimensional composition on a compartmentalized panel with a grid-like structure. Each compartment features an assemblage of rolled and sewn textiles in organic shapes—spirals, ovals, cylinders—in a vibrant, colorful palette: blues, pinks, mauves, greens, and oranges. The work is signed and dated on the back.
