Mahogany Game Table, 19th Century
Elegant mahogany game table, in the Napoleon III style, dating from the second half of the 19th century.
Its rectangular top, featuring the mahogany’s magnificent natural grain, unfolds to form a square surface, revealing a game board lined with green felt.
The piece rests on a richly carved central base, consisting of a fluted shaft resting on a square plinth topped by four legs carved in the shape of lion’s paws. The band is also adorned with an elegant carved floral motif.
A particularly decorative piece, combining elegance, quality craftsmanship, and functionality—ideal as a game table, card table, or side table.
