Very beautiful console forming a games table from the Napoleon III period in cedar burl, marquetry of light wood, blackened wood and bronze. The fluted and rudented bronze legs carry an alternating headband of cedar burl, blackened wood and gilded bronze. A mascaron in the middle of the headband. The top is in cedar burl and light wood marquetry with palmettes and interlacing. It swivels and opens on a green felt sheet. Underneath a large storage space in mahogany veneer for cards and other games. Very good condition, this table comes from the cabinetmaker, felt redone. Napoleon III period around 1860.
