The entire set is bound in a very fine Creuzevault binding of coarse-grained red half-maroquin, with burgundy shagreen covers featuring a black fillet, a spine with two raised bands, and a gilt top edge. The cover and spine are well-preserved. Two volumes printed on large-format paper.
Rare as a set with uniform binding by a renowned bookbinder.
