Late 19th-century Empire-style Inkwell
Large Empire-style inkwell made of gilded chiseled bronze and sea-green marble. It is adorned with an eagle with outstretched wings. Two lidded jars on the sides serve as inkwells. It rests on four griffin-shaped feet. It dates from the late 19th century (around 1880) and comes with its paperweight. There is a chip on one of the two glass inkwells and a small crack on the paperweight, but otherwise it is in good condition.
