The patina displays beautiful nuances as well as some wear and tear due to age.
The sculpture is hollow and bears the stamp of the Manufacture de Signa on the base, along with the model number 936.
The Manufacture de Signa, established near Florence in the late 19th century, produced numerous decorative terracotta pieces inspired by ancient Italian sculpture, particularly Renaissance models.
