Portrait of Princess Marie Anne of Saxony, Electress of Bavaria (1728-1797) Daughter of the Elector of Saxony Frederick Augustus II and the King of Poland Augustus III, she was married in 1747 to the Bavarian Elector Maximilian III Joseph of Bavaria (1727-1777) The Princess Electress is represented in a dress with an ermine fur headdress. She wears the sky blue sash and the cross of the Order of Saint Anne that she founded in 1783.
