Exquisitely crafted, this chalice features a design ofgreat finesse, embellished with numerous enamel inlays andsemi-precious stones, reflecting the care taken in its creation.
It comes from the house of Hermann Cassau, a silversmith and manufacturer ofliturgical objects based in Paderborn, Germany, whose workshop was founded in 1892.
The chalice comes with its liturgical spoon, also made of silverand bearing German hallmarks.
The set is crafted from 800-th silver, with a total weight of960 grams.
The chalice measures 24 cm in height, with a base width of 16.5 cm.
It is presented in a wooden case from the Cassau workshop, which is included.
In very good condition.
