A large vermeil silver ciborium measuring 37.5 cm, with a19-cm poly-lobed base.
Finely engraved, the base features medallions depicting Saint John the Baptist,the Immaculate Conception, and Saint Anthony of Padua. A highly detailed central knotgives structure to this beautiful piece. Finally, the hemispherical bowl is adorned with friezes andfinely engraved and chiseled foliage motifs. The domed lid is classicallytopped with a radiating cross.
