Large 1-litre soft-paste porcelain cup from Sèvres, 18th century, circa 1780 (Double C C mark) A subtle and delicate scattered barbel motif executed by Mel Félicité ARMAND, known as “La Jeune”; several members of the ARMAND family were floral decorators at Sèvres. As for the letter “Y,” it refers to Edmé François BOUILLAT, a floral painter active from 1758 to 1810. The cup is in impeccable condition; the wolf’s-tooth frieze shows no signs of wear. Saucer dimensions: diameter 13.5, height 3.5 cm. Cup dimensions: Height 6.8, diameter without handle 7 cm.
