Pair Of Silver-plated Metal Mirrors, Louis XV Style

An antique and rare Italian frame, unusual due to its non-standard dimensions (W. 56 cm; H. 78 cm). Baroque in style, it was made in Italy in the early 1800s from sheet metal with a thick layer of silver plating. Hand-decorated using repoussé techniques with large scrolls in relief, created by hammering from the back. Dimensions of the oval opening: 25 cm; h. 36 cm. It is in excellent condition.
