Double-sided Louis XVI-style Mirror Table
A finely chased gilded bronze mirror back in the Louis XVI style. The handle of this double-sided mirror is fluted and terminates in an acanthus leaf; openwork floral motifs frame the round, finely chased mirror on the front and along the edge. An openwork pediment decorated with olive branches, a knotted ribbon, and an interlaced quiver and torch (a symbol of love) surmounts the frame of the two mirrors.
