Here is a lovely pair of gilded bronze frames with oval visible mats that complement the grainy finish and the ornamentation of the four foliage motifs. The frames are dominated by large Louis XVI-style pleated ribbon bows. The frames feature contoured moldings with beaded edges and, in the center, a frieze of intertwined laurel leaves.
Suitable for display on a surface or for hanging, they include their protective glass covers and date from the second half of the 19th century.
