E.p. Napoleon III Liquor Cabinet Thuja Burl & Boulle Marquetry/mother-of-pearl
19th-century (Napoleon III) liquor cabinet made of burl and knotty thuja wood with beautiful, deep amber grain.
The cabinet is adorned on the top and front with a marquetry panel featuring foliage motifs in brass, precious wood, and mother-of-pearl inlays.
Opening mechanism: Tilting top lid and two side doors that open like an accordion or a folding wallet. Original key included.
Interior tray: Removable dark wood tray featuring a highly sculpted gilt bronze central handle.
Glassware / Crystal: Includes its 4 crystal decanters engraved with geometric and floral motifs and their faceted stoppers, as well as a complete set of matching engraved liqueur glasses. (9 original cut crystal glasses, 2 stoppers of a different design).
Legs: Rests on four blackened spindle legs.
