Gilded Bronze Candlestick Floor Lamp, Late 19th Century
- Small gilded bronze lantern in the form of a streetlamp, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century.
- This streetlamp features a hexagonal base from which rises a fluted cylindrical shaft, the base of which is decorated with a frieze of acanthus leaves and a row of beads. At the top is a pine cone ornament from which extends a delicately crafted, serpentine arm ending in volutes. A lantern is suspended from it. Its upper section, which is removable, is designed to hold a small candle.
